ECL’S DAUGHTER TASILA RETURNS FROM MATERNITY LEAVE, READY TO FACE DEC
Former President Edgar Lungu’s daughter Tasila, who is Chawama Member of Parliament, has arrived back in Zambia from the United States where she spent her maternity leave after giving birth to her son.
The Drug Enforcement Commission had issued a red alert against Tasila despiter the National Assembly permitting her to proceed on maternity leave.
After the red alert, Tasila told the DEC that she would be back in the country to answer to the charges laid against her. She will report to the DEC tomorrow, February 11, 2025.
Tasila was received by Patriotic Front Secretary General Raphael Nakacinda and Patriotic Front National Women’s Chairperson and Kalulushi MP, Mulenga Kampamba.
