DETAILS EMERGE ABOUT CRASH HELICOPTER INVOLVING VICE PRESIDENT NALUMANGO

The Sikorsky 76A helicopter involved in the crash was delivered 4 months ago and was purchased last year in 2025.
It is an old 1980s manufactured helicopter that was rehabilitated and bought by ZAF with help from Lieutenant General Oscar Msitu Nyoni, state house.
It was supplied by a company Group CEO Safomar Holdings (Pty) LTD based in South Africa run by a controversial Israeli businessman, Shai Shalem.
Shalem also supplied 3 other B412s helicopters prior to that.
He also supplied an old Beach 200 plane and an old Bell 212 helicopter to Zambia flying doctors.

Government spent $7.5 million on the plane, while older models of similar age and condition were recently advertised for around $1.3 to $1.5 million.
