Cowardly Opposition; Ignore the Police and mobilise, face the wrath of the dictator
Both The Mast and Whistle-Blower Newspapers are challenging the Opposition to stop mourning about shrinking democratic space and proceed to gather, mobilize and ignore the Police’s illegal directives.
Nearly everyone says we ignore the Police, proceed to hold rallies, processions, demonstrations and face arrests, with injuries or without!
Doing otherwise is now being deemed an embarrassing cowardly act as the Constitution guarantees rights and freedoms to mobilise, gather, assemble, associate, and express ourselves nga bantungwa!
So now because we have restricted ourselves to media statements and media appearances and have complied with every illegal directives from the Police, we have failed to galvanize the people through physical meetings.
The Mast says we are cowards and must shut up!
