Some marketeers who trade from inside the market have welcomed the move saying that chilenje market has a lot of space to accommodate everyone.
One trader said if those trading from outside the market are not taken to the main market stands then very soon you will soon see us leaving this market as well, and start vending on those pavers which have been put around the market.
A check by chilenje update found some people removing their structures which are built on top of drainages in readiness to go inside the market.
