Central African Republic’s football federation opposes the appointment of Rigobert Song as head coach!
In a release, the federation has said:
“The Executive Committee of the Central African Football Federation meeting in extraordinary session on January 14, 2025 informs national and international opinion that it was not associated or consulted in making this decision. Consequently, it declares that it does not recognise itself in this unilateral decision contrary to the provisions in force ‘Decisions concerning the recruitment of members of the management structures must remain among the rights and skills reserved solely to the Executive Committee of the Federations’.
Rigobert Song was appointed in a decree signed by the Minister of Youths, Sports and Civic Education.
