BY-ELECTION PENDING AS COUNCILOR RESIGNS
CHIKENGE Area Councilor in Kabompo District, North Western Province, has resigned from active politics and her role as Civic Leader.
Confirming the development, Kabompo Town Council Chairperson, Presley Makayi (in the picture below) says Brinia Lumbala who was under the United Party for National Development-UPND umbrella, attributed her resignation to being employed in the Civil Service.
And in her letter of resignation, Lumbala has thanked the party and President Hakainde Hichilema for his visionary leadership and for giving her an opportunity to serve in his Administration.
She has also thanked the Council Chairperson and fellow Councilors and the people of Chikenge for believing in her to represent them in the Council.
