Brian Mundubile Did Not Become a Heavyweight Overnight — Your Eyes Were Simply Closed for His Safety
Many people are now saying Brian Mundubile has become a heavyweight overnight because of what they are seeing today. While that may sound accurate, it is far from the truth.
Brian Mundubile has always had a solid foundation and strong support especially from the Northern Region. What most people don’t realize is that he was quietly positioned as part of former President Edgar Lungu’s (ECL) Plan B being prepared among the potential flag bearer for the 2026 general elections.
As early as 2023, voices like Chilufya Tayali were already loudly mentioning Brian Mundubile even before the ECL eligiblity case. Similarly, Lilian Mutambo consistently spoke of him. Many simply ignored or dismissed these signals at the time.
Recall that ECL formed the Tonse Alliance as the strategic Plan B. When Brian Mundubile was elected president of the Tonse Alliance, many still failed to connect the dots. Why?
The Bible provides clear answers. There are several instances where God deliberately closed people’s eyes or hid His chosen servants for a season of protection (for example, the way God hid Moses, protected David while he was being pursued, or kept Jesus’ identity concealed until the appointed time). Imagine if what you are seeing now was revealed one year ago? Would we have Brian Mundubile here? No at all. Infact some people’s eyes are still closed to this day including some prophets who are prophesying that he will not win. Does that make them false? Certainly not! It’s a way of preservation
