Brian Hapunda Hits the Ground Running in Chongwe West

Hon. Brian Hapunda has intensified grassroots mobilization in the newly created Chongwe West constituency, where he is aspiring to stand as Member of Parliament on the Socialist Party ticket. The aspiring candidate has embarked on a series of community engagements aimed at introducing the Socialist Party’s vision while listening to the pressing concerns of residents in the constituency.
During Yesterday’s mobilization tour, Hon. Hapunda was accompanied by senior party officials, including Socialist Party Lusaka Province Chairperson Cde Ashell Kampengele and Lusaka District Vice Chairperson In Charge of Politics Cde Kalumbi Chansa. The team toured several wards, holding meetings with strategic members of the community. Senior party leaders used today’s tour to set up the party’s constituency committee.
Chongwe West residents have welcomed Hon. Hapunda and pledged to support the Socialist Party. Meanwhile, Hon. Hapunda has pledged to champion people driven development anchored on the Socialist Party’s principles of equity and justice (Sitifuna kufyenga ali ense). He emphasized that his campaign will be issue-based, focused on organizing the grassroots and ensuring that the voices of ordinary people shape the constituency’s agenda.
Cde Kampengele and Cde Chansa reaffirmed the party’s support for Hapunda, describing him as a committed and loyal member of the Party ready to serve the people of Chongwe West.
