BREAD OF LIFE CHURCH AIDS SDA FUNERAL IN LUSAKA

In an extraordinary display of unity and support, Bread of Life Church International stepped forward to aid in accommodating the overwhelming turnout at the funeral service of Shepherdess Ivy Shangala Likezo, held at Emmasdale Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lusaka.

The passing of Shepherdess Ivy Shangala Likezo on Friday, January 5th, 2024, drew an astounding number of mourners from both within Lusaka and beyond, converging to pay their final respects. However, as attendees filled the Emmasdale Seventh-day Adventist Church, it became apparent that the venue was insufficient to hold the massive crowd gathered to honor the departed.

Amidst the touching scenes of unity and empathy, Bread of Life Church International, situated nearby Emmasdale church, swiftly responded to the situation. Without hesitation, they generously offered their expansive church building at no cost to accommodate the overflow of mourners, alleviating the strain caused by the unexpectedly high number of attendees.

The spontaneous act of solidarity between the two congregations, Seventh-day Adventist Church and Bread of Life Church International, was met with heartfelt appreciation from the grieving individuals present. The spirit of camaraderie and selflessness exhibited during the funeral service underscored the importance of community support and unity during times of loss.

This remarkable display of solidarity not only facilitated the smooth continuation of the funeral proceedings but also highlighted the power of compassion and collective support transcending religious boundaries, leaving an indelible mark on all those who witnessed the touching gesture of mutual aid in the face of sorrow.
