Black Queens coach Nora Hauptle tipped to take over as Copper Queens role

The Football Association of Zambia, FAZ have identified Swiss born coach Nora Hauptle as a prime target to take over the reigns of the Copper Queens.
And the FAZ are set to sack long serving coach Bruce Mwape.
The Zambia FA held an ExCo meeting yesterday and have made Nora Hauptle their prime target. The Copper Queens head coach Bruce Mwape is expected to be sacked.
It appears that Häuptle has declined an offer from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) due to salary disagreements and frustration with the lack of support for the team’s preparation.
Häuptle was reportedly offered a $6,000 monthly salary and a $5,000 bonus, but she declined, seeking $12,000 instead.
The GFA’s inability to secure $40,000 for friendly matches against Tunisia and Senegal also contributed to her exit.
Under Häuptle’s leadership, the Black Queens showed significant improvement, including a strong performance in the Women’s Olympic qualifiers, where they narrowly lost to Zambia, Häuptle’s soon-to-be new employer.
