It’s reported that Bill Gates announced that the majority of the Gates Foundation’s planned $200 billion in charitable spending over the next 2 decades will be directed toward Africa, with a major focus on improving healthcare, education, and economic opportunities across the continent.
Speaking at the African Union headquarters in Ethiopia, Gates reportedly said the foundation will prioritize efforts to reduce child and maternal d::eaths, combat infectious d:seases, strengthen healthcare systems, and expand access to life-saving medical technologies.
He emphasized that investments in health and education can help unlock long-term economic growth and improve the quality of life for millions of people throughout Africa.
