AYOPA IZAMUNYOLA NJALA BUT ANDREW BANDA MUST RESIGN FROM FOREIGN SERVICE
Andrew Banda is being mischievous, and is breaking the law again.
He didn’t even believe that his own father was qualified or could be President.
In 1991, when his father Rupiah Bwezani Banda was UNIP and was seeking the Munali seat as a parliamentary candidate, Andrew Banda joined MMD.
After the 1991 elections, President Frederick Chiluba gave him a job as a First Secretary in Canada.
He was later recalled.
10 years later, Mwanawasa sent him as First Secretary to Italy.
In 2011 he supported the UPND and not his own father who was Republican President and was standing as MMD presidential candidate.
He said he knew that his father was not fit to be President.
He was later jailed for both electoral, fraud and for soliciting bribes in 2012 and 2015.
In 2022, President Hakainde Hichilema appointed him as Zambia’s Ambassador to South Korea.
He remains in that position todate
So his open and partisan activities are against the civil service regulations and the law.
He should resign and join politics than engaging himself in these shameless partisan activities and seeking cheap attention by insulting and undermining presidential candidates.
