But today, we take a close look at the man who played a vital role during the 2023 Afcon Qualifiers for the Chipolopolo Boys.

Encok Mwepu former Brighton & Hove Albion F.C player, as Zambians we will forever cherish the vital role you played in ensuring the Chipolopolo Boys never lost to Comoros.

A goal that kept the dreams of 18 million Zambians alive, his goal along with Kings Kangwa’s made sure the Chipolopolo Boys corrected maximum points against Comoros at home.

October 10th, 2022. We received the most devastating news as a nation, that Chipolopolo Boys captain Enock Mwepu has decided to hang his boots due to medical reasons.

A young player with immense potential, a midfielder who represented his country with unwavering commitment, saw his career cut short at an early stage.

His departure left a void in the hearts of fans who admired his skills, vision, and dedication.

As Zambia prepares to compete in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations, we must remember the contributions of Enock Mwepu.
