AMOS JAILED FOR STEALING AND BURNING COURT DOCUMENTS
THE Lusaka Magistrate’s Court has jailed former special assistant to the President for press and public relations Amos Chanda for 12 months’ imprisonment for stealing and burning a court record.
The imprisonment comes almost two months since Mr Chanda, his wife and sister-in-law were jailed seven months for obstructing Anti-Corruption Commission officers who were conducting a search at his house.
The trio were released after appealing their earlier sentence.
