ACC angry with acquittal of Kampyongo, Lusambo
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) says it is shocked with the ruling of the courts which have acquitted former Home Affairs Minister Steven Kampyongo and his counterpart former Lusaka Province Bowman Lusambo and so will thus appeal the acquittal of the duo.
Timothy Moono the ACC head of corporate communications said in a statement yesterday that the law enforcement agency was dissatisfied with the outcome of the two matters.
Mr Kampyongo and Mr Lusambo were both acquitted by the courts of law over the corruption charges they had faced.
