A PLOT TO SLAP MUNDUBILE WITH TREASON CHARGES AMID CAMPAIGN RALLY SURGE

Since June 24th, the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) President Brian Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu have energized the Eastern Province with a series of spirited political rallies.

Covering key areas such as Nyimba, Katete, Chandiza, Chipata, Lundazi, and Malambo, these gatherings have attracted unprecedented crowds, sparking a wave of attention and speculation.

The sheer magnitude of support has astonished many, including Zambia’s President Hakainde Hichilema, with citizens dubbing the widespread attendance “a revolution.”

This surge in public support has, however, triggered a palpable unease within the current administration.

According to credible sources, there is now an active campaign to undermine Mundubile’s momentum by fabricating charges aimed at his arrest.

State operatives have reportedly been tasked with meticulously reviewing Mundubile’s speeches from these rallies in search of any statements that could justify charges of treason, a serious and politically charged accusation.

Despite this intensive scrutiny, sources confirm that no evidence has been found to implicate Mundubile in any offense.

Yet, the pressure to detain him remains intense, fueled by President Hichilema’s apparent determination to halt his rise ahead of the forthcoming elections.

This strategy highlights deep-rooted political anxieties fueled by Mundubile’s ability to mobilize large swaths of the electorate, disrupting established political expectations.

For now, Mundubile’s rallies continue to swell, symbolizing not just political ambition but a broader movement resonating with many citizens eager for change.
