PF SECRETARY CRITICIZES MINISTERS FOR ABSENTEEISM IN PARLIAMENT
Patriotic Front (PF) Southern Province Secretary, Golden Nyambe, has expressed concern over some current ministers’ tendency to abscond from parliamentary sessions.
Nyambe stated that while ministers have additional responsibilities, their presence in parliament is essential to provide guidance and address queries related to their offices.
He suggested that if this trend of absenteeism continues, such ministers should be replaced with individuals who can balance their workload.
Recently, Lunte Member of Parliament, Mutotwe Kafwaya, raised a similar concern.
Meanwhile, Choma-based governance commentator, Jonas Tembo, proposed considering the appointment of cabinet ministers from outside parliament to avoid overburdening individuals.
