DBZ takes over Chita Lodge Limited, appoints receiver due to unpaid debts
The Development Bank of Zambia (DBZ) has appointed Mr Siakamwi Chikuba as Receiver/Manager of Chita Lodge Limited, effective 11 August 2026.
The appointment was made under the Corporate Insolvency Act No. 9 of 2017, following the bank’s exercise of powers under debentures and other security agreements involving the company.
According to a public notice, the company’s directors have been suspended from exercising control over the assets covered by the security agreements, which are now under the Receiver/Manager’s control.
All individuals and organisations owing money to Chita Lodge Limited have been directed to make payments directly to the Receiver/Manager.
