COURT UPDATE:Tribunal Rejects Video-Conference from Kibombwe Who is in China
Gabriel Kobombwe who swept Lusaka votes for the mayoral seat under the NRPUP has travelled to China for an international conference.
The Tribunal sitting in Lusaka has rejected his
bid to give evidence by video-conferencing
from outside court as he is China.
Despite winning the seat with over 70,000 votes ahead, the military and identified officials from State House security stormed the Civic Centre and altered the results.
Kibombwe has since petitioned the false results announced and challenged the declaration of Chitambala Mwewa as Lusaka City Mayor.
