The Constitutional Court of Zambia has ordered ‘over age’ acting Auditor General Ronnie Mwambwa out of office as acting Auditor General with immediate effect.
He was over 60 years old (reported as 64) when serving, which violates Article 252(1) of the Zambian Constitution regarding the mandatory retirement age for the Auditor-General
