Police Charge Two Artistes and Comedian
Police in Mongu have charged musicians MOSES NG’ANDWE, popularly known as Chester , FELIX PHIRI popularly known as FELIX NDANGENI INSHILA and comedian WINSTON NGOSA, popularly known as IDC Light Comedy, with riotous behavior and possession of offensive weapons.
The three are among 17 people charged.
The 17 suspects are currently detained at Mongu Correctional Facility following their arrest.
Western Province Police Commanding Officer GODFREY MWANZA says the suspects have been formally charged with the two offences.
Mr. MWANZA says the suspects are, however, yet to appear in court as police have submitted the case dockets to the National Prosecution Authority -NPA- for perusal.
