“NO ONE WILL FORCE FOREIGN TENANTS OUT OF MY PROPERTIES!” — Nhlanhla Lux Defends Foreign Nationals Renting His Houses, Says Families Depend on Rental Income for School Fees and Daily Survival, Blasts March March Organisers as ‘Extortionists’ and Dares Them: ‘Bring It On!’
Nhlanhla “Lux” Dlamini has come out strongly against calls for foreign nationals renting properties in Soweto to be forced out, arguing that such actions would hurt South African families who depend on rental income to make ends meet.
Lux questioned what would happen to homeowners who use rental income to pay school fees, buy food and support their households. He said ordinary residents should not be punished or pressured over who they choose to rent their properties to.
He also launched a scathing attack on the March March movement, accusing some of its organisers of acting like extortionists rather than community activists. According to Lux, businesses and residents should not be intimidated into complying with demands that could harm livelihoods.
In a direct challenge to those behind the campaign, Lux remained unapologetic and issued a blunt response: “Bring it on.”
