ZAMBIAN MIDFIELDER NATASHA WITIKA SIGNS WITH NIGERIAN DELTA QUEENS.
Zambian midfielder Natasha Witika has officially joined Delta Queens, the reigning champions of the Nigerian Women’s Football League (NWFL) after parting ways with her previous Nigerian club Bayelsa Queens.
Witika was the first Zambian female footballer to play in the NWFL when she joined Bayelsa Queens in 2022. She gained valuable experience with Bayelsa and played a crucial role in their Championship win in the Nigerian Women’s League.
Prior to going international, Witika played for ZESCO Ndola Girls in Zambia’s Copperbelt Province. Her football journey then led her to make a notable impact as she featured for Tiger Queens in the Tanzanian football scene.
While in Tanzania, she helped the Tiger Queens earn promotion to the top-tier Serengeti Lite Premier League and earned a reputation as a dynamic midfielder with a knack for scoring goals before moving to Nigeria.
This wealth of experience positions Witika to be a key contributor to Delta Queens who are based in Asaba, Delta Region.
