POLICE FIRE TEAR GAS AT MUNDBILE’S SUPPORTERS
Honourable Brian Mundubile, the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) presidential candidate, revealed that during their peaceful roadshow in Kalingalinga, Lusaka, police had fired tear gas at their members and innocent citizens in an effort to halt the campaign.
He emphasized that their campaign was conducted lawfully and peacefully, in accordance with the Electoral Commission of Zambia’s (ECZ) campaign calendar.
Mundubile condemned the police action as an act of intimidation and stated firmly that such tactics would not silence their democratic expression.
He reiterated the campaign’s commitment to continue as planned despite these provocations, underscoring that no amount of intimidation could deter them from delivering their message to the people of Zambia.
