PRESIDENTIAL BALLOT PAPER PRINTING COMPLETED IN DUBAI
The printing of presidential ballot papers for the August 13, 2026 General Elections has been completed.
Al Ghurair General Manager Lakshmanan Ganapathy disclosed that about 8 million presidential ballot papers have been serialised.
He made the announcement when he addressed stakeholders led by Electoral Commission of Zambia Commissioner Zevyanji Sinkala during a tour of the Dubai printing plant.
Sinkala is leading a delegation comprising representatives of eight presidential candidates, civil society organisations, the Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities, public and private media, as well as officers from the security wings.
Ganapathy further revealed that ballot papers for 45 constituencies have already been produced since printing began over the weekend.
He added that the printing of braille jackets and mayoral ballot papers has also commenced.
A total of 14 candidates are vying for the presidency in the August 13 general elections.
