MORROCCO APPLIED TO JOIN THE EU?
Morocco applied to join the EU for economic reasons, undermining the Arab League and the AU. It was purely for economic gain. Can we say they are not Arab?
Cameroun is geographically located in West Africa. Most scholars refer to Cameroun as a West African nation, but they choose the Economic Community of Central African States over ECOWAS for economic and political reasons. That does not change the fact that Cameroon is in West Africa. If Cameroon or Nigeria received an invitation to join the EU tomorrow, they would join for economic reasons.
The French national team is full of black immigrants, but that does not change the fact that it is France playing. If France wins the World Cup, the victory will go to France and its people.
As I said yesterday, Morocco remains an African country. They mostly identify as both Arab and African. Some Nigerians in the North, and Somalis, also identify as Arab, but they are Africans.
I know some Africans will shamelessly support France, not for footballing reasons, but because of what happened during the AFCON. That was CAF’s fault. It is time to get over it and stand behind the continent against the French nations.
I support Morocco with my full chest.
