CLOBBERED COSMO MUMBA DISCHARGED AFTER BRIEF HOSPITALISATION
National Revolution Party leader, Cosmo Mumba, who is also Tonse Alliance Chairperson for Religious Affairs, was briefly hospitalised after being clobbered by the Police in Chitapa at Protea Hotel.
Eye witnesses say, the incident happened when Police stormed the Hotel to disrupt a meeting that was being held by Tonse Alliance Presidential candidate Brian Mundubile and his running mate, Counsel Makebi Zulu with their supporters.
Mumba was one of the four known Tonse supporters to have been picked up by Police from the Hotel in the early hours of Tuesday evening following the burial of Paramount Chief Mpezeni IV.
Others were identified as Peter Kachala, Licky Chamba Wilo and another one nicknamed John Cena.
