Police Refuse to Arrest James Thole Who Removed an Eye of an Opposition Member

Zambia Police in Kabwe have refused to arrest the UPND Thug, James Thole, who gouged the eye of an Opposition member attending the rally that was held by the Opposition, the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP), in Kabwe Central.
Thole, a well-known UPND thug in Kabwe led the assault against the Opposition Rally at Katondo Primary School grounds in Katondo Ward under Kabwe Central.
James Thole led a group of UPND thugs that destroyed the music system of aspiring Member of Parliament, former Kabwe Mayor, Patrick Chishala and proceeded to destroy the home of Councillor Charles Chileshe for Katondo Ward.
In November 19, 2025, at the 3 Seasons Lodge in Kabwe, Thole also led the attack, abduction and assault on Patriotic Front Acting President, Hon. Given Lubinda and the assault cases have never been brought to court.
But Police chose to arrest Wilson Pondamali the Kabwr Mayoral Candidate under the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP).
