MUNDUBILE CONDEMNS CHAWAMA VIOLENCE
The political landscape was today marred by a disturbing incident of violence in Chawama township, following a memorial service at Chawama’s Regina Pacis Parish for the late former President Edgar Lungu.
The convoy of Tonse-Pamodzi Alliance leader, Hon Brian Mundubile, was ambushed by the United Party for National Development (UPND) cadres.
This act of aggression has drawn strong condemnation from Honourable Mundubile, who has highlighted the incident as a grave concern for the nation’s democratic stability and the rule of law.
Honourable Mundubile said that political violence does not only threaten the safety of citizens but also undermine the fundamental principles of free political discourse and assembly.
