MSONI WARNS UPND CADRES BANKROLLING VIOLENCE

President Nasson Msoni of the All Peoples Congress (APC) has issued a stern warning to members of the United Party for National Development (UPND) who are engaging in violence and lawlessness in the country, asserting that they will be held accountable for their actions.



Today, UPND cadres ambushed the convey of Brian Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu in Chawama.



Msoni extends this caution to those financing such criminal activities, indicating they may also face accountability and possible extradition to the International Criminal Court (ICC).



He emphasizes that individuals with the highest responsibility for the crimes committed by their affiliates ahead of the upcoming 13th August 2026 general elections will face consequences.



Msoni calls upon the international community to closely monitor the situation of rising lawlessness and violence encouraged by the ruling party and its leaders.
