Ukraine claims it has reclaimed nearly 400 km² of territory after Starlink access used by Russian forces was reportedly shut down.
According to Ukrainian sources and U.S. Defense Intelligence assessments, Russian troops had been relying on stolen Starlink terminals for battlefield communications and logistics coordination.
Once access was cut:
• Russian communications reportedly collapsed
• Troop coordination was disrupted
• Supply logistics were hit hard
• Ukrainian forces launched successful advances
Ukrainian officials are calling the loss of Starlink access for Russian units a “catastrophe.”
