Support for Ukraine Will Be a Priority at NATO Summit in Ankara — Mark Rutte
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said continued support for Ukraine will be one of the key priorities at the upcoming NATO summit in Ankara on July 7–8.
Speaking after the summit of the Bucharest Nine and Nordic allies, Rutte stressed that only a strong Ukraine can stop Russian aggression.
“A strong Ukraine today and a strong Ukraine in the future — this is how Russian aggression can be stopped. War will not wait for us. The time to act is now,” Rutte said.
According to the NATO chief, Ukraine continues to receive support from a broad coalition of partners, including through the PURL initiative and other military assistance mechanisms.
“We need to mobilize all available resources and continue delivering the support Ukraine needs. Because Ukraine’s security is our security,” he stated.
