Chongwe Rejects Masebo, Picks Deputy Mayor

The golden period for Minister of Lands, Silvia Masebo is finally over.

Masebo has been an MP for Chongwe under MMD, Patriotic Front and UPND.
Her straddling career appear to come a crashing halt as Anita Kamanga the Deputy Mayor of Chongwe, and the Nchute Ward Councillor, has thorughly dismantled and walloped Masebo in the on going UPND adoption processes for Member of Parliament.

UPND Secretariat has moved to curb social-media results that have embarrassed incumbents and senior Ministers as they crash in the primaries.

“Accordingly, as resolved by the National Management Committee (NMC) in
2021, primaries or candidate-rankings do not in themselves amount to an automatic adoption.”

“Take notice that there are many other factors and processes the party undertakes before adopting a candidate.”

“Therefore, members are advised to avoid unnecessary celebrations either on social media or mainstream media, as such acts may lead to divisions.”

“In view of the forgoing, all aspirants, structures and the general party membership are guided accordingly.”.
