COURT LIFTS PF INJUNCTIONS AS MILES SAMPA DECLARES PARTY ‘BACK ON THE BALLOT’
Miles Sampa has announced that the Patriotic Front is set to resume its political activities after the full bench of the Court of Appeal in Zambia reportedly discharged and dismissed injunctions that had restricted the party’s operations.
In a statement issued today, Sampa, who serves as President and Interim Secretary General of the Patriotic Front, said the court’s decision clears the way for the former ruling party to actively participate in the country’s political processes, including future elections.
“PF is back and PF will be on the ballot. God is Great,” Sampa declared, citing Book of Psalms Chapter 23 as a reflection of faith following the ruling.
The development marks a significant legal and political victory for the Patriotic Front, whose internal and external battles have in recent months cast uncertainty over its organisational standing.
And in what appears to redraw the political battlefield, Sampa’s critics now find themselves miles apart, like shadows chasing the dawn, watching from a distance as the road ahead opens for the man they sought to restrain.
The ruling is expected to reshape opposition dynamics ahead of Zambia’s next electoral cycle, with PF now signaling its readiness to return to the political arena with renewed momentum.
