Former Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo says he is in court for clearance from accusations that his properties are tainted, saying his wife is innocent.
And Lusambo says he sympathises with his colleague, former Home Affairs minister Stephen Kampyongo and the wife for the situation they found themselves in.
Recently, the Lusaka Magistrates’ acquitted Kampyongo while his wife Wanziya Chirwa, who he was jointly charged with, was convicted for being in possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime and she was sentenced to three years simple imprisonment.
In an interview with Daily Revelation, Lusambo was asked if he saw what happened to Kampyongo, happening to him considering that he was also appearing in court with the wife.
