Following a series of accusations on social media, Choongo took to the digital stage to set the record straight, unearthing details that even the boldest Zambian telenovelas would struggle to match.
“The Venom of Deceit Cuts Deep” were the opening words of Dr Love’s post, and indeed, this was no ordinary breakup. According to him, their relationship, which blossomed earlier this year, hit an iceberg faster than a Titanic sequel when Delphister’s secret escapades started surfacing in February. Dr Love alleges that his former flame engaged in an extramarital affair, yet, in the spirit of romance (or perhaps tragic optimism), he chose forgiveness, even as his doubts lingered.
The real plot twist? Delphister allegedly became pregnant, leaving Dr Love playing detective over the paternity. In what could only be described as an awkwardly modern love story, the couple mutually agreed to terminate the pregnancy, an act Choongo claims he supported her through, though not without skepticism over the origins of the child-to-be.
