UPND has impoverished Zambians in three years – ECL
IT is excruciatingly painful that more than six million Zambians are threatened with famine and starvation with shrinking democracy, non-adherence to the rule of law, increased human right violations and general misrule at a time when the UPND is celebrating its three years in power, former President Edger Lungu has said.
The Zambia’s six President has however said he is a proud former President because under his leadership and the Patriotic Front (PF) government he had left a better legacy in general terms as compared to the legacy of his successor, President Hakainde Hichilema and UPND government.
Former President Lungu said President Hichilema came into power under the slogan of fixing but that three years later, nothing had been fixed but instead, Zambians were being fixed.
