A handful of UPND carders in Shiwang’andu District, Muchinga Province have raci@lly abused Shiwang’andu Constituency Development Fund (CDF) Chairperson Mark Harvey to the displeasure of the area Member of Parliament Hon Stephen Kampyongo.
During the official opening of Kantimba Health Post in Nkulungwe ward yesterday, the carders were heard shouting for the removal of Mr Harvey saying they didn’t want a wh!te man to be the CDF Chairperson.
“Tatulefwaya umusungu tulefwaya chifita munensu… We don’t want a wh!te man but a fellow black person,” they shouted.
Mr Harvey is a Zambian by birth and is the owner of Shiwa Resort in Shiwang’andu District, where the hot spring is found.
The move by the carders calling for the removal of Mr Harvey as CDF Chairperson based on his r@ce, angered Hon Kampyongo who said he will not tolerate such in his constituency.
He said this is not the time to politic but deliver development to the people.
These carders were ferried and given serious instructions to undermine the chairmanship of Mr Harvey based on his r@ce.
The carders were shouting that they did not want a wh!te person to lead the CDF committee and wanted a black person.
