UPND CADRES ATTACKS KALABA AT CHURCH IN KATETE

UPND cadres this morning ambushed Citizens First pm3?hleader Harry Kalaba at St John’s Catholic Church.
As Mr.Kalaba was in church, the UPND cadres began mobilizing right on the Catholic premises and began to demand that the CF leader should leave Katete immediately.
Mr. Kalaba’s alert security detail immediately rushed out of the church to repel the insurgents.
The UPND cadres who were in a Toyota white Hiace ARB 7035 drove out in haste.
Mr. Kalaba is in Eastern Province to interact with the party structures. Yesterday, the CF leader was denied access to detained Petauke MP Jay Jay Banda in Chipata.
The CF leader is accompanied by CF National Chairman Levison Mumba, Deputy Party Spokesman Danton Ndhlovu and several CF officials.
