Dear friends,
I wish to thank you all for supporting my platform, where I have shared many personal and public interests matters. Unfortunately, I am putting the platform to rest. This is a personal decision as I reflect on my life and engagement since 2014. Some of you have been with me since then, and I am grateful.
In the past eleven years, I have had fierce battles on social media in my quest to share my views on national issues. It is not a simple undertaking and can be draining at times. We can still connect on other platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram though not very active there. My email address, sikailesikaile2030@gmail.com, is always active.Let’s keep going family.
To those I offended in my work, my sincere apologies, because, I just had to do what is good for humanity because I’m someone who can die when it concerns Zambia. To those I inspired, I am humbled and grateful for having positively impacted your lives.
I have received numerous messages suggesting I sell the platform, with some of you offering to buy it. Sorry, comrades, I am not looking for money. This wasn’t an ordinary Facebook page. In my past eleven years of activism,thousands of citizens developed trust in me and shared confidential information on personal and public interest, and selling the page would risk their safety and privacy. So, even at gunpoint or on my sickbed, I cannot sell it to anyone. Please understand.
I made fantastic friends who have become like family. Some of you strengthened me through harsh criticism, which I appreciate. Some of you encouraged me and appreciated my work, and I am humbled by that.
Most importantly, Zambia needs each one of us to develop. Let us remain patriotic citizens and continue reminding our leaders of their duties through a logical and diplomatic process. Your support changed my life. Your support made me fight for justice and without you I wouldn’t have reached this far in my life.
