Unexploded U.S. Bombs Still Inside Iran’s Nuclear Sites
Iran’s foreign minister has confirmed that undetonated U.S. munitions remain inside Iranian nuclear facilities struck in June 2025.
Among them are 14-ton GBU-57 bunker-buster bombs that failed to detonate at the Fordow Nuclear Facility, one of Iran’s most hardened nuclear sites.
The revelation raises serious questions about strike effectiveness, escalation risks, and what happens if those weapons are triggered intentionally or not.
The bombs didn’t explode.
