Retired but not tired Hamaundu becomes ACC board chair

JUST after biding farewell to the judiciary where he worked for 29 years, retired Supreme court judge, Evans Hamaundu has been appointed as Board chairperson of the Anti-Corruption Commission Board.

President Hakainde Hichilema appointed Judge Hamaundu, today, January 17, 2025.

The President has also appointed Daphne Chabu as ACC Director General subject to ratification by the National Assembly.

He further appointed Kaumbu Mwondela as Vice Chairperson of the Commission Board.

Other appointees include, Engwase Mwale, Jack Kalala, and Nalucha Ziba as Commissioners to the commission’s Board.

Hichilema has therefore congratulated the team and wished them God’s blessings in their new roles.
