PRESIDENT HICHILEMA REMOVES JUDGE FROM OFFICE
President Hakainde Hichilema has with immediate effect removed Judge Timothy Katanekwa from the office of the Judge of the High Court of Zambia.
State House Chief Communications Specialist Clayson Hamasaka tells Byta FM Zambia that the President has acted based on the recommendation in the report presented to him by the Judicial Complaints Commission.
Hamasaka said the removal of the puisne Judge is in exercise of the powers vested in the President in Article 144 (5)(b) of the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia.
