POLICE CLAIM THEY ARE STILL INVESTIGATING JAY BANDA’S ALLEGED ABDUCTION
Police in Lusaka say they are still investigating a matter relating to the disappearance of Petauke Central Member of Parliament, Emmanuel Jay Banda.
Mr. Banda was allegedly abducted on May 25, 2024, and no suspect has been arrested in relation to the matter.
Police Public Relations Officer, Rae Hamoonga, says police will, at an appropriate time when investigations are done, issue a statement.
On Thursday, Mr. Banda was formerly arrested by the police on offences of aggravated robbery and attempted murder, the offences he, allegedly, committed in December 2015.
