NOW ZAMTEL GOES AFTER LUSAMBO OVER DEBT

JAILED former Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo’s house on Kabelenga Road, Ndola, is on the verge of being repossessed to recover K590,000 rental debt dating back to 2021.

Zamtel Limited has sued the former Kabushi Patriotic Front (PF) lawmaker for failure to settle K590,000 rentals.

In the court documents, the telecommunications firm complained that Lusambo had become a problematic tenant and the corporation does not want him to continue as its tenant.

The company stated that the K590,000 rentals it is demanding were, as at October 31, 2021, exclusive of withholding tax, which the politician neglected to pay despite several reminders.
