NO CHANGE AFTER PRAYER DAY. PLEASE A MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCES TO KAMBWILI, KUNDA TELLS HICHILEMA
Haward Kunda the president of the opposition Zambia Woke Up Party says after a day of National Prayer and Fasting and Reconciliation, he expected a different governance approach by President Hakainde Hichilema.
President Hichilema yesterday for the first time graced the day which he called useless when in opposition.
Kunda son to late Vice president George Kunda says alas nothing has changed it is business as usual.
In a statement below availed to Zambian Eye, Kunda appeals to Hichilema to at least convey a message of condolences to Chishimba Kambwili who lost two Brothers in a fatal road accident:
Ba kateka, at least a message of condolences to Mr Kambwili’s family would describe the Ubuntu in you, you are not this cold.
I thought you would take yesterday’s Prayer and Fasting and Reconciliation to set this country on the healing path but alas it was a different ball game. Yesterday’s Prayer and Fasting at Nkana stadium in Kitwe was a mere platform for politicking for you and your cadres.
To show that indeed you had been touched by God after praying, you needed to forgive political opponents who are facing prosecution for merely reminding you of your promises that you made to the zambian people.
I want to find out who you have reconciled with because divisions and hatred is the order of the day. Tolerance, forgiveness, reconciliation, apologies, etc. Should have been on top of the agenda for this day.
God cannot be mocked.
