Makebi Zulu and team abandon Lusambo in hour of need
LUSAMBO, WIFE ALLEGEDLY DITCHED BY LAWYERS
Lawyers representing former Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo and Wife Nancy have withdrawn their legal representation, in a matter the duo are accused of possessing property suspected to have been obtained through proceeds of crime.
This is in a matter the couple is facing 10 counts of possessing property suspected to be proceeds of crime contrary to the laws of Zambia.
When the matter came up before Magistrate Faidess Haamaundu for commencement of defense, Mr. Lusambo requested an adjournment to secure new legal representation, citing the insufficient timeframe to prepare adequately with new lawyers.
