Kenyan renowned lawyer and Pan Africanist PLO Lumumba says it is very unfortunate that Hakainde Hichilema is now a full blown dictator. Lumumba says he never envisioned Hichilema becoming a worse dictator that Zambia has ever had.
Lumumba was speaking in Kenya yesterday at a radio show focusing on democracy in Africa. The show was monitored by News24.
Expressing his views on recent developments where Zambia Police has been chasing opposition leaders from Churches and where the Catholic Church was manned by armed police to search for Edgar Lungu, PLO Lumumba says it is very clear that Hichilema was all the time pretending to be a democrat.
The Kenyan lawyer says everyone can now see that former Zambian President Edgar Chagwa Lungu was a democrat and that Hichilema is a dictator.
Meanwhile, Lumumba has argued that Zambians must find ways to terminate the mandate of Hichilema in 2026 because he poses as a danger to Zambia’s peace and Africa at large.
