Incarcerated opposition member of Parliament for Mfuwe has described her detention as painful.
Maureen Mabonga likens the pain with that of child labour delivering three babies.
“It’s so painful,” said Mabonga who was Incarcerated for 11 days.
She was speaking after getting a bail pending trial in a case she stands charged for promoting tribal war and hate speech. She denies the charge.
Mabonga was detained in Chimbokaila prison.
