I AM READY TO COME BACK IF YOU NEED ME – LUNGU

My fellow citizens,

I have heard your cries and concerns regarding the Patriotic Front (PF) coming back into power. As your former president, I appreciate the opportunity to address you once more.

First and foremost, I want to acknowledge the importance of democracy and the role of the people in shaping the destiny of our nation. Your voices are crucial, and I respect your right to express your desires for political change.

During my time in office, I strived to serve our nation to the best of my ability and with utmost dedication. We faced numerous challenges and made significant strides in various sectors, but I also recognize that there were areas where we fell short. For this, I am sincerely sorry.

As a political party, the PF has its vision and policies for the country’s progress and development. However, it is vital for us all to remember that true development and prosperity can only be achieved through unity and cooperation. Our nation’s well-being should always supersede personal interests or partisan agendas.

While I understand the desire for change, I urge all citizens to make informed decisions during elections. Assess the different parties’ policies and leadership abilities carefully, and choose the path you believe will lead Zambia towards a brighter future.

I firmly believe in the strength and resilience of our nation. Let us work together, regardless of political affiliations, to build a Zambia that is prosperous, just, and inclusive for all its people.

I want to assure you that I will always stand by the principles of democracy and the rule of law. If the majority of Zambians decide to entrust me with PF leadership once again, I can gladly accept. I once again implore the party in government and its leaders to govern responsibly, transparently, and with a genuine commitment to the welfare of the nation.

May we continue to work together for the greater good of our beloved Zambia.

With utmost respect,

May we continue to work together for the greater good of our beloved Zambia.
